Hello friends! (-^〇^-)

How are you? I hope you're doing okay! <3 I mistakenly watched a scary movie before bed last night and got a bad night's sleep so that's how my Monday's going so far. TuT;; In this sketchdump I focused a lot on poses and objects. I want to set an intention for this week to draw more characters in environments. I think orienting people and objects within a concrete environment is a different skill entirely from drawing people and objects in white space. I think I need to take the leap already and just dive into the deep end! The only way to get better at something is to just do it! I'm using exclamation marks to encourage myself!! >:O

Flower arrangements! I tend to feel stiff when I draw flowers so this was a really good chance to practice~ >:3

The following are a bunch of ink drawings I did in my sketchbook! I've been trying out new poses and familiarizing myself with some objects. Practicing like this makes it really clear just how much is still available for me to learn, which is a wonderfully humbling feeling.
