Happy new year I hope your day is going well! <3 First of all, congratulations on making it to 2019 whether you walked, ran, or crawled your way into this year I’m proud of you and am glad you’re here. ^^ I’ve been drawing every day since the start of the year to encourage myself to break past my fear of failure and embrace the fun of creating once again. In 2018 I struggled creatively so I’m tackling my problems head on this year by forming new habits.

Now about this month’s postcard and sticker, above is the postcard. Both pieces were done using Procreate on the iPad, which feels wild to me because just a couple months ago I was having a lot of difficulty with the new medium. I’m really enjoying the program now and almost exclusively use it to create digital art these days! I’m excited to continue exploring the space and seeing what else I can create with it. ^^ 

For the postcard I wanted to focus on creating an environment that fit the character. She’s a sweet witch who loves her alone time and carves out cozy spaces for herself to relax and reflect. 

For the sticker I was very inspired by tarot cards and wanted to draw one of my own. I chose a symbol that is important to me and encouraged myself to have fun with design. :)
