❤ WEEKLY SKETCHDUMP ❤ // leaving my comfort zone! (Patreon)

Hope your day is going well so far~ I'm excited to share this week's sketches with you because I've been trying out some new things! I've learned in the past not to branch out too quickly when experimenting so I've been dipping my toes into new techniques here are there and it's been a lot of fun. :D Without further ado, let's get into the sketches!
Above: I love drawing school uniforms and thought it'd be fun to draw some very cool teens on their phones. I really like these characters, I want to try fleshing out their personalities and draw them again in the future. :-)
Learning to work with limited color palettes and drawing things that I want to get better at aka ARMOR!
I feel like I rarely draw more than a single character at a time and I want to get better at drawing characters interacting. I think you can tell intricate stories just by showing a relationship. It's something I've always found fascinating (I majored in Communication for a reason!) and I want to explore that aspect more in my artwork.
Plus it's always fun creating original characters. I saw this adorable photo of a panther and jaguar hanging out together and I wanted to make them girlfriends. ^u^
Drew inspiration from old Japanese comics! It's so much fun playing around with composition and textures and hopefully I can learn more about layout and screentones in the new year! ^o^
Hope you all have a wonderful day, sending you lotsa love! <3
