♡ WEEKLY SKETCHDUMP ♡// in a weird phase (Patreon)

Hope your day is going well so far~ I took a mini-break for Thanksgiving to recuperate from fulfilling shop orders and am happy to report that it was a wonderful and relaxing holiday. I ate an incredibly amount of delicious food and got to try out VR for the first time! It was a unique and slightly trippy experience. :D
As the title states I'm in another transition-y stage of my art right now. I feel like I go through one of these every couple months or so and it's starting to become familiar. It used to annoy me, having to uproot my style on the regular because I felt unsatisfactory with what I was creating. But now I see it more as a process that's constantly evolving and accept the fluctuations as both a regular and natural occurrence. I can best describe this current phase as a desire to push my style to create purposeful/sensical markmaking and to include elements of graphic design, typography and composition. Writing it out makes me realize how much I'm trying to tackle in one go, which could explain why I'm feeling frustrated at my attempts. Nonetheless, I'm having great fun experimenting and trying out new things even if it isn't coming naturally to me quite yet.
Sketch at the top of this post: Listening to EDM always makes me draw the most intense things haha. It's nice though, I feel like it helps me see a clear image of what I want to make.
A lonely Eleven.
So I recently learned about this character and I already love her! Her name is Menat and she's from Street Fighter V. I've never been that interested in fighting games, but I've found something to appreciate. The way characters are animated looks so fluid and dynamic and the range of motion is extreme creating fun and creative poses. I'm into it!
A Miku from memory! I used to draw her every day in high school because I loooooved her so much. She was basically what D.Va is to me now, a blank slate of sorts to explore my current interests!
Rainbows~ .゚☆(ノё∀ё)ノ☆゚.
A tiny angel Mercy!
A very cool D.Va. I feel like this sketch is the beginning of the departure from my previous style. I don't want to expect too much, but I tried out new things with this one and it feels good! Going to continue experimenting this week...
Hope you enjoyed the sketches and thank you so much for your support! Wishing you a great rest of your day/night and I'll see you in the next post! ^-^
