I've always been fascinated by jellyfish. They look so delicate and ethereal underwater it's hard to believe that such a serene-looking creature can cause rather nasty stings! Best to admire from afar it seems. And what better way to do so than to make art of them! I wanted to capture their magic through flowy lines and subtle glows and create a scene slightly otherworldly. The translucence was especially fun to do as I think it really adds to the perception that they're like little ghosts, here one moment and gone the next. I really enjoyed working on this piece and I hope you like it too! ^^
