Hope you're having a lovely week so far ^^~ I've got some recently finished art to share with you all! $5 patrons you might be familiar with the Red Velvet piece >u> (I finished it!). If you don't know what Red Velvet is, they're a kpop group and they recently released a new EP! It's super cute, I recommend checking them out. For those who are Red Velvet fans, which song off their new album is your favorite? :D
I seem to be in a lineart mood as of late. I think I prefer it right now because the process is more straightforward compared to digital painting. It's been incredibly hot recently (hello summer) and the heat makes me feel tired. So the less mental exertion I can put forth, the better haha. I don't particularly mind though, I love practicing lineart! It can also be a calming experience. I go into autopilot when inking and the working process feels streamlined. I'm like ~*in the zone*~.
Here's a lil' page of D.Va I drew that is inspired by old manga. I wanted to try something new and practice a bit of sequential art. I'm really happy with how it came out, I think it shows off her cute personality in a fun way! ^-^
To my dear $10 patrons, mailing out June postcards will be delayed by one week. I do apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience! There was a mishap with UPS and short story is the postcards won't arrive until tomorrow night, after the post office closes. So I'll be mailing them out next Friday 7/21 instead of tomorrow. Again, I apologize! I was so excited to send them out too, especially since I spent all of yesterday decorating your envelopes. TuT
What's one fun thing that's happened in your life recently? Comment down below I'd love to know! ^^ About enamel pins, the company I'm using should be getting back to me with proofs by the end of this week with final proofs so *fingers crossed* that comes through. Can't wait to share them with you!
Until then, thank you so much for your support. You being here allows me to invest in cool projects like pins, so I'm truly thankful and am excited to experience this process with you. It's my first time as well so we'll get to see how all of this works, from sketch to finished product! Woohoo!
Have a wonderful day and talk soon,
Vicki
