SO OVERWATCH IS 1 YEAR OLD AND D.VA IS REALLY CUTE (Patreon)

Hope you're all having a lovely day so far~ As you may or may not know, Overwatch just started celebrating its one year anniversary and boy oh boy am I excited. I wrapped up my job with Blizzard over the weekend so I'm very much looking forward to posting regularly on Patreon once again. Also, the art I did for them should be getting released soon so when that comes out I'll be sharing process photos with you all! ^^ 

D.Va got a new skin with this event and it is so adorable. T_T I'll be completely honest, I wasn't too moved when I first saw it, but its really grown on me since! I think more than anything I'm really captivated by the possibilities that will come out of it. Grease-inspired D.Va? Pinup D.Va? 50s glamour D.Va??!!! I literally felt so overwhelmed by ideas earlier that I just got up from my chair and walked around for a bit. Did some breathing exercises, you know, calm the nerves. It's funny, I'm actually a bit unaccustomed to drawing digitally right now since I've been doing mostly traditional art this month with the mermays. So it felt really awkward getting into this sketch session, but I'm easing back into it bit by bit! :)

Anyways, I did a few sketches to get myself acquainted with the outfit. I'm really looking forward to doing more so hope you look forward to that!

I'm also a big fan of the new Pharah skin, she looks so incredibly cool and I love how they decked her out in accessories and gold. I'm really impressed by the design on this one in particular and think that conceptually it's one of the strongest out of all the new skins. It's so ornate, but it doesn't feel overwhelming and I appreciate that because it's not an easy balance to strike.
