April showers bring May flowers~ (Patreon)

Welcome back to my Patreon! I know we're already halfway through May, but I want to share with you the calendar piece I made for this month! Yes you read correctly, I'm working on a calendar for 2018! Check out pieces from the past month here:

For May I wanted to focus on growth. I've been able to learn a lot in moments of solitude surrounded by plants and I wanted to portray those experiences in this piece. I've felt incredibly inspired by nature recently. The growth, persistence, and adaptability that it projects makes me feel calm in tough times. It's like, if nature can make it through all this crazy shiz that's happening then so can I! I also feel comforted by its timelessness, how I'm only here for a short amount of time and that life on this Earth can and will continue to thrive even when I'm gone. It makes my problems feel less...painful and reminds me to embrace as much happiness in this lifetime that I possible can! ^^ 

Let's all do our best to embrace pockets of happiness and love. Notice and cherish beautiful moments, no matter how small they may be!
