I think this is the longest monthly speedpaints vid so far. xD I learned a lot in the making of these pieces and did a fair bit of experimenting outside of my comfort zone (so! much! lineart!!!) last month, so it makes sense that there was a lot of trial and error involved. historically, I've shied away from styles and concepts that felt too challenging, but I'm in a phase of life where I'm surprisingly excited to take those challenges on and see what I can learn from them. I'm really happy with how these pieces turned out, because I had very specific ideas in mind and I'm glad I was able to follow through on those inclinations. I'm endlessly fascinated by how much there is to learn in the process of making things! it gets me pumped up to make even more art!
