Guys, I can see why Barry cheated, if you will. This was more than just a race for Barry, but it was important life and death struggle for Iris's future. He wasn't trying to best Wally to show off , as it's importance is not a matter of ego, but to make Wally a better speedster. It's not competitiveness that's driving Barry, but keeping Iris safe.
