First of all, the main character in this episode was the music. The orchestra did an amazing job driving this episode. Second of all, I'm kind of surprised that the VA for Cad Bane is the same as Ziro the Hut. This was his episode, so shout out to him. An episode like this, people would call filler, but it's really not. Slower episodes like this, they really drop some gems and hint at things that play out in later episodes. I love the hypocrisy of Anakin. When Ahsoka lost her lightsaber she was so scared to tell him because she didn't want him to be disappointed in her and here he is just giving it to Padme without a second thought. Also, Anakin went and married a politician but doesn't care for politics. I'm not saying he doesn't think Padme's job as a Senator is important, but I feel like he thinks it's not that important, where it should take her attention away from him especially since they don't see each other that much. You can tell that them having to hide their marriage is a great weight on him because they can't just be normal. I also find it interesting that even though there's a galactic war going on, the Jedis still have time time to take a 2 week meditative retreat. I think this episode did a great job in showing that Anakin has become to reliant on his light saber. I'm pretty sure after this incident he did some hand-to-hand combat training because he can't have Ahsoka upstage him. If it's one thing Ahsoka is good at, is that when she loses her lightsaber she start throwing hands, knees, elbows, and feet. She licking you one way or another. I also liked the little things in this episode like when Anakin was passed out, it was the Pantoran Senator's lap he was resting on or that when Anakin was captured that green alien Senator noticed that Padme was sad about that. I also love that when Anakin came to, he forgot where he was and what was happening and almost slipped up there. I think the con for me with this episode is that Padme could have given Anakin his lightsaber back a lot earlier. We know these Jedis can retrieve their lightsabers from far distances. Padme could have just dropped the lightsaber on the floor of her office when she was leaving, or quickly excused herself and put it back on her desk, or even when she had it behind her back she could have dropped it back on the desk, Bail wasn't looking at her. But, overall I enjoyed this episode.
