Update 3/1: added a tail base slot version combined with horse shoes (curled ears)
I finally felt more confident about making ear tips for Indian breeds (Marwari, Kathiawari, etc). And maybe only ever foal CC from me?? That's a joke but also true. A thanks to Silokami for testing and giving feedback on these.
I'm also adding my personal head/body adult horse overrides. I prefer my horses to kind of look like Sims and not super realistic but even so, I needed some improvement. I included a comparison image showing some EA breeds and didn't know what else, so I added some non-posed side views of various horses I've made. I'm fully aware no one probably wants these but I don't like releasing only one thing.
In this post:
- Indian Ear Tips (called curled ears v3): includes horn, hat, & foal versions + horn slot adult versions combined with my horseshoes. Original horse shoe mesh NOT required.
- Head Override
- Body Override
Notes:
-The ears may look a bit ugly with some shapes, but if you choose one of the default shapes from CAS, they're near perfect. I suggest doing that if they don't look like my images.
-Both body & head overrides are made with my preference of slimmer horses in mind. The biggest change in the head, other than the eyes, are slimmer jaws and the slightest bit longer bridge.
-The biggest edit for the body is the neck. It has more of a curve in connecting to the chest plus slimmer on top. Additionally the quarters are more angled and chest slightly adjusted. I only ran into one mane that has an issue (the fully shaved one) and all my tack CC appear to work without need for adjustment.
-That being said, there will be minor issues depending on the item. Notably, the default Western saddle will clip but the realistic fit barrel saddle by Equestrianista will not. The last braid on some of the braided manes are a bit weird, too, so I may cut those off and release those versions but they are functional.
-Works with PW's Beautiful Hooves override. No plan to make a hoof override myself. All future CC will be tested both on these overrides & EA default.
Usual stuff: meshes are relatively high poly, will deform with some morphs, follow TOU, feel free to add swatches/make recolors as long as result is kept free (no early access) and credit is given.
