[Question] In-hand/hunt bridle (Patreon)
Content
Second most requested regards in-hand/showing/UK hunter. I kept trying to make this into a poll but it wasn't feasible. So I'll just pose the question instead.
I'm American and our Hunters is strangely very different than UK Hunters. Needless to say, I don't have a lot of knowledge about the UK version. Hunt and in-hand probably don't overlap as much as my mind wants to insist they do so I do apologize about combining them. I was originally planning to make something like the first image but with the rosette browband. After looking through the responses and redoing the Google search, I may be wrong about that.
Anyone kind enough to explain to me the differences in the images? These are the types of questions I have.
-Is a flat noseband more common versus a raised one?
-Is the double bit in the last image the one most often used for riding?
-Is the first bit used with a rosette browband at all? I thought it was but now I don't seem to find images showing that...
-Should I just make the rosette browband and flat noseband and then leave up to Build-a-Bridle?
-Are some of these really strictly breed-specific and you wouldn't see them used with other breeds in-hand or under saddle?
I wish I could say I'm not going to create new leathers with a buckle for the bit instead of what I've done but I know I will. It'll bother me if I don't.
