Update (11/4/2023): New slot options available. I don't run my game with other tack CC; I want to run it clean for testing. Thus, I had no idea using an accessory in the leg/head slot hides the corresponding hair. So, if you had disappearing tips, sorry about that. Added three more options: hat, horn, forelock

This is my imperfect solution to not having sliders yet but still wanting to make Indian breeds. As promised three variations because I couldn't decide/was creating testing stuff and it looked okay. These are imperfect; there will be some areas where the smoothing into the horse model is somewhat rough and I can't feasibly curve more of the ear otherwise you basically get four ears (one can but I don't know how to make that work in game). But if you're like me and just want something to distinguish your breeds, they will work (I think so anyways).

Choose the best option for you: leg feathering, hat, forelock, or horn. Note: the game will hide the "forelock" or "leg feathering" when using a hat or leg protection accessory. If they disappear when you add another accessory, this is likely why. Unfortunately our slots are limited but if you have another suggestion where to put them, please let me know.

In this post:

  • 1. Curved Ear Tips
  • 2. Curled Ear Tips
  • 3. Extra Curly Ear Tips

There are other ear options out there by now but I wanted something that didn't change the ear entirely.

Thank you so much!

You're welcome! Hopefully they'll be useful. Making curled-ear horses were some of the last on my personal list and weren't exactly the same without them.

This is sooo cute. But they don't work in my game :( they show up under leg feathers but nothing happens when I add them on

I'm asking around to see if anyone else is having an issue. Unless you're staring directly at the ears (and the camera in CAS doesn't like to given it's in leg feathers), the effect is subtle. But I've missed a step in packaging it all up before, too.
