I separated these into three files mostly for organization sake. All pads except the Hunter Under Saddle will fit various SSO saddle edits. Hunter Under Saddle will only fit my working hunter saddle.

In this post:

  • 3D saddle pads - Baroque, Rounded, Square, Dressage -- All with Realistic, EA, Halfpad/no halfpad versions

    • Ghoul Studios already separated out the dressage pad; the ones included here are independent files that have the original SSO colors plus EA fit versions

  • Racing Saddle pad - Realistic, EA, halfpad/no halfpad

    • It is normal for parts of the saddle pad to show through the half pad. I also did my best with weight/morphs for this. The racing saddle sits very tightly compared to other saddles so it is much less forgiving on potential clipping

  • Hunter Under Saddle - Realistic & EA fit both with no 3d girth, Girth v1, & Girth v2 options

    • It is normal for parts of the horse body to show through the mesh; saddle should cover it

All saddle pads use the same map as the original dressage saddle pad from MinervaMagicka (except Hunter Under Saddle). Therefore, any recolor used for that should fit easily onto these pads. If you want the half pad already separated out for recolors see my post here. I only included the original SSO swatches MM had done so I hope to see a lot of recolors around!

I do want to make a 3D Western saddle version but my WIP of it was not working as I wanted it to. So that has been delayed but hopefully to come.

Thanks to Ghoul Studios for help with thumbnails!

Usual stuff: meshes are relatively high poly, will deform with some morphs, follow TOU, feel free to add swatches/make recolors as long as result is kept free (no early access) and credit is given. Credit to SSO & MinervaMagicka for original asset and textures.

No offense for the other creators, but I've been waiting for it for so long. Finally 3D saddle pads and ear bonnets 💖 Btw, can I ask what kind of skin details do you use? I like how the structure of the muzzle looks, especially area around eyes.
