I’ve asked this before. And I know you’ve got a lot on your plate. But do you plan on doing the Burton Batman movies before the flash?

Reeves was perfect for the roles of both Clark and Supes. John Williams created the perfect score. This movie holds a special place in my nerdness fandom of all things nerdy. It can be easy to knock the campiness of the movie as a whole but it was fun for it's time.

100% agree with the watch order. Superman (1978) Superman 2 (1980) Superman 78 (2022) - Superman '78 Hardcover is around $21.14 Superman Returns (2006) I still count Superman Returns as canonical as the comics take place before that film. You also have a certain CW Arrowverse cameo which I can't really say if it's canon or not to the films but it would be cool to maybe show Jen. Only problem with that is explaining what the hell is happening and how we got here lol So I'll leave it out for now. Same thing with the Burton films as the Batman 89 comics retcon Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. These two films felt very different anyways to Burtons films while the comic very much feels like a sequel to Batman Returns using the same actors, depiction of Gotham and overall tone. Batman 89 Batman Returns (1992) Batman '89 (2022) - Batman '89 Hardcover is around the same price This would be a fun reaction before you dive into The Flash film releasing soon.

I think y’all need to watch both cuts of Superman II, they are so different and it would suck if she watched one version and didn’t like it because that version was in the specific movie

I want to love these movies so much. I just can't do the old super hero films. I definitely enjoy parts of it, but it's not something I will rewatch. Btw....You guys got any more of them Andor reactions? 😬

Jen has seen some of the older Batman movies, but she hasn't seen the original and only pieces of Returns. She's seen the Schumacher for sure though. Anyway, I'd love to do those!

Ahhh yes the kryptoians, the universes first climate change deniers pay attention earthlings. I'll bet it was weird watching Jor-El and Lara send off baby Kal-El like that, with the baby coming and all.if you can please look at Superman and Lois it's amazing.
