No (bleep). You two are watching this. Sweet! I remember believing a "man can fly" watching this in the theater. And that John Williams score is (chef's kiss). Can't wait to watch your reaction as I believe it does hold up if you can appreciate it for it's time. I wonder what Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were thinking when seeing their creation on the big screen and hearing one the greatest lines in cinema..."You got me? Who's got you?!?". #ReevesismySupes

I do heavily recommend the Superman 78 comic that actually released last year ai believe along with the Batman 89 comics. They're set right after Superman 2 pretending that the other movies never happened but still use the likeness of the actors while also introducing a more art deco retro futuristic Metropolis instead of the New York depiction in the movies. These comics even hint at Bruce Wayne and Superman which have lead many to believe that Superman 78 could be connected to the Tim Burton Batman movies. The Batman 89 comics also feature Superman references as well. This film and the Superman Animated Series are just peak Superman. I'd love to see Metropolis brought to life as this Art Deco retro futuristic Tomorrowland city just go all in with the stylised look and feel for the James Gunn DCU. Go all in on the retro feel while also having modern elements like a hybrid of styles. Gotham and Metropolis should be a massive contrast to each other which is something the DCEU failed to do while of course in this film Metropolis is more or less New York City for budget reasons etc.

Is this the special edition or original?

Nevermind, just started the video and it's the very first thing you say!

That would be illegal. You have to sync up your own copy of the film.

Jim

I was wondering that, or if they are able to watch a certain percentage of it.
