This movie is so awful.. It's like a comicbook movie from the early 90's. Did they buried it in a vault somewhere and dug up ? Cliched plot, horrible dialogue, weak villain, lame action, what-the-fuck-we're-you-thinking-performance by Tom Hardy 1/10 - But that said, i'm happy for Jen. Glad she liked it.

I thought I was the only one that disliked this. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it. Is it better than the Raimi version, yes, but that’s not saying much, and only by a little bit. At least Raimi had most of the backstory correct and considering they’re both Sony movies, why not incorporate it? As for Venom, the design was much better and the movement and ability was done better as well. Tom Hardy as Venom for me, no. The voice and the buddy-buddy thing, also a no. What is it with brits playing iconic New York characters. That and the fact that, they have a symbiote as the villain is going to take away from Carnage too. And Woody Harrison?, really? he’s like 60. He’s a great actor and maybe 20 years ago, but now?, just better options in my opinion, but I ain’t runnin’ the show.
