Man Holden you da Goat. Yeah this is top 5 MCU for me. Just a fantastic film across the board. 2014 was an amazing year for Marvel cause it broke the mold and just had two huge surprise hits with this and Guardians of the Galaxy. I think it just elevates Cap's character which imo was already so great. I think for me I had Iron Man as my favorite until this movie. Been Cap ever since. Also really just my Black Widow such a better character. Can't wait for July ;) It's so great seeing Jen watch this after I just watched an episode of (you know what show) lol. Can't wait to see Jen react to Guardians and be blown away. She Loves Star Wars and She Loves Marvel. Smash them together and you got Gotg. I can tell she loves the interconnectedness of the films and even tho Gotg is more standlone there's that one connection I know she'll immediately recognize.

Wow! You got this one out quick! I agree with both of your opinions on this movie. I remember being blown away by it when I saw it in theaters. Since you mentioned that Cap seemed tougher and stronger in this movie, fun fact that I read back when this movie came out: Remember back when they were releasing video games along with the movies? Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Cap each had a game. Well, I don’t remember if Chris Evans played the game or saw videos of it, but when he saw how Captain America fought in the video game, which by comparison to the movies was a lot more acrobatic and brutal, he suggested that Cap should be fighting like that in the movies as well. Thankfully, they heeded his advice and from this movie on his fighting got way more acrobatic, brutal and hard hitting. The game in question, by the way, wasn’t the greatest superhero game ever made but it was pretty good, especially when it came to the combat.

Quick note on the “how many people in shield were hydra” question (to which Holden guessed 50/50, as many including myself did): the Russo bros were asked this by film junkies and they said the percentage was smaller, people placed in the more influential places (and over-represented in security forces).

Great reactions, Jen! Glad you enjoyed both the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Thinking that may be rewarded someday in the future... Can’t wait for the next Avengers team up movie. BTW, that’s one film that becomes SO much more meaningful when watched a second time after the saga is complete! As for consequences, just wait for Phase 3, Jen ;) #teamstark

That's what I always thought I think like 1 out of every 5 or 6 was Hydra. It just so happened that they were strategic and they had more important and influential positions filled with them like the strike team and obviously all the way to the top with Pierce.

This was great! I absolutely loved the Skillshare ad you put together. I wanted to show you some love for that because that took a lot of work. It was hilarious watching you two argue about Black Widow’s mission. I have to agree with Jen on this one though, Cap is still working through his squareness. Lol I can wait for Jen to watch Civil War! It’s going to be fantastic. Thanks for the ratings BTW, two 8s for Thor 2 is great. That movie gets a bad rap.

I like to say I don't think that was the real Nick fury in the second act pay attention to Nick fury in the next avengers and watch what he says and Captain marvel and what happens in far far from home in Spider-Man, is just my theory
