Great video. Im really excited for you guys to hit episodes from seasons 4-7!

I started the show bored in quarantine and rushed through the first season. By the middle of the second season, especially Landing at Point Rain, I was fully in. I'd say by the second season it gets consistently good of course with some bad filler here and there, but then by the third season it hits its stride and just gets better.

As many people already said, there are a lot of arcs or episodes that are somewhat hard to get through, if you want to see really good stuff. For every good arc, there will be a boring one (for the average viewer). The Malevolence arc is more on the boring side, so don't let that set your expectations (or most of season 1). I still appreciate all the "bad" episodes for their worldbuilding. Even in later seasons, there will be some stupid episodes, but there are a lot of amazing ones on the contrary and this is a show that for once has a really strong ending, so you don't have to worry about that. It's gonna be a long journey for you but I hope you'll stick with it, because it will pay off. Thanks for the reactions. For the average viewer - not the nostalgic ultra-fan - season 1 doesn't have that many good episodes, is very childish and the animation isn't really fleshed out. Season 2 doesn't have outstanding arcs or episodes, but overall there aren't really any stupid episodes and most of them are a pretty solid watch, while not overly amazing. Season 3 will start off slow for most with a lot of politics etc., but the second half of the season will have some interesting and amazing arcs, and I'm sure you are gonna like at least some of these. Season 4 also doesn't start off that strong, but after the first few episodes it's arguably one of the best seasons, with amazing arcs. Season 5 has lows and amazing highs, this season is very good overall. Season 6 is shorter, but doesn't lack interesting and intriguing arcs and stories. Season 7 will be solid and ends off really, really strong. It's a satisfying ending. If you have any questions about the clone wars - whatever the nature - I would be glad to help.

I'm curious about how Jen's military experience affects her viewing/opinion of the show in general..?

Rebels is far superior imo. It doesn't have the lows Clone Wars has. The highs are easily up with the best of the Clone Wars. Overall CW just drug on for far too long. Could have easily made the show 4-5 seasons. Rebels is better cause it's a smaller scale and can balance out everything. Plus it actually is more important to watch it due to all the connections to the Mandalorian timeline now

Mmh i care to disagree. Il like rebels and it certainly doesn't have the low that TCW has, but the up of TCW rank higher to the up of rebels in my book. Overall there on the same level but without the low in s1/s2 TCW would be one or two classes above rebels

Kel Dors, sometimes referred to as Kel Dorians, were a sentient species hailing from the technological planet Dorin. They required masks to protect them when in oxygen-rich atmospheres. Without the mask they kind of look like predators from the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie
