Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone for the cavalcade of well-wishes I have received. The response to 'you're not getting chapters next week' being so unanimously supportive has been astounding and gratifying. You are all amazing, thank you.

Chapters will resume on the normal schedule this week.

I had a very relaxing week. I got to put everything off and spend my time finally getting to do some reading, instead of writing. I also took some time to win over my mum's new puppy, Sasha, who started off quite hostile but ended up napping on top of me while I read comfortably in my hammock.

I'm quite refreshed and ready to power through November until my main break through December. Just a reminder that I will not be charging existing patrons who retain their membership for December. I will be taking five weeks off total, with specific stop/start dates varying by timezone. The last chapter for the year will be November 30th or December 1st, with the first chapter back being January 5th or 6th.

Again, I thank you all for the massive outpouring of goodwill.

Nice, good to hear you could relax and start your relationship with the new familymember Sasha. :)

I honestly didn't know there was anyone doing the type of writing and releasing every week until coming across your books. Seems incredibly taxing. Never visited Patreon before either. You're bringing people into a whole new media medium.

Good refreshing week off is always nice :) Take care of yourself going forward, we all wish you can finish this story and be in shape for future projects of yours. Here's to more cliffhangers! CHeers

And so the prodigal son returns. I hope he brought sandwiches 😉

Good to have you back. Sadly, you just revealed us your evil plan. In a previous chapter the characters mentioned that "playing fights" in a hammock was complicated and required practice. That was actually you trying to brainwash your female readers into wanting to practive in your hammock! Now I'm afraid of going to australia with my fictional couple.

How dare you? You mention a new puppy and don't provide a picture? The nerve! But seriously, glad to hear you enjoyed your break.

While I was on break I read Iron Prince, The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound and Blessed Time book 2. I enjoyed all of them, although the Kindle release for Ghosthound book 1 isn't out until late next week. My publisher gave me a pre-release copy to read while I was on break. I know that the author spend a huge amount of time working with an editor on that one. Glad you enjoyed your break, I know how easy it can be for breaks from a job to turn into constantly doing all the other non-job-related work. And I'm happy everyone is understanding and not adding additional stress =) Hope you enjoy your holiday break as well, but glad to have you back until then =)

This will give me a chance to catch up!
