I was waiting for you to get to this episode. Umemiya shows why he is the leader. When i first saw this episode, i was just expecting a beatdown so he could come to his senses. But he taught him a lesson during the fight. Very deep symbolism.

This was such a good episode and after watching this episode again I enjoyed it more than the first time I watched it and also I don't know if anyone mentioned this but choji's voice actor is the same voice actor that does denji from chainsaw man

Who would have thought a "delinquent" anime would have so much depth and emotion? It's JUST about fighting right? What I like about Wind Breaker is it deals with the, (sometimes irrational) emotions that teenagers go through. Events or things that seem unimportant to an adult always seem more important during your teenage years. The complex emotional states relationships depicted are deep. Choiji displays classic signs of depression and he had no idea how to deal and manage these emotions. Obviously, to us this thoughts became twisted and he expressed how he felt through his aggression. Togame, was alway there for Choji, always holding the gang to gether for him while protecting Choji from the negativity of the gang but that also isolated Choji from what he needed most. Choiji and Togame's relationship is special. I love this episode for all the right reasons - the story telling, the animation, the OSTs (especially "Stronger" by Ryo Takahashi), the emotions, the symbolism, etc., so perfect.

Rare when you get a show with top notch action and really good character development. On top of being such a simple premise. Ain't gotta be overly complicated. Just do what you do and do it well!

I had kinda written this anime off as another fighting show without much depth and didn't give it a chance while it was airing. After watching most of your reactions to shows I had already seen, I really enjoyed your reactions and started watching wind breaker since I like alot of the other animes you react to. I am really glad I decided to watch it, and that I got introduced to it through your reactions - So I guess Thnx :)
