Almost a year to the day from our last episode on Black Hammer, the organization erupts yet again with a death and the jailing of Commander Gazi Kodzo on a number of charges, including aggravated sodomy. We also talk about the DOJ indictment against Russian national Alexander Ionov and what it means for Black Hammer, APSP, and YesCalifornia.

I just want to say that I appreciate you guys not dogpiling on the APSP. While they have their problems, I’ve seen some downright racist takes saying they were “puppets of Russia” and basically painting a legitimate, if somewhat strange, Black communist org as an astroturf job.

I have friends on the left here in St Louis who've described the APSP as cult-like around their leader and making similar use of white people as a separate reparations corps-like org with their Uhuru Solidarity Movement, plus I think there's suspicion around them since they only set up shop here after Ferguson. But tbh I've never had any direct experience with them.

Aleksandr Viktorovich's family name is probably pronounced ee-OHn-nuff. There's a slight chance he's pretentious and pronounces it ee-ahn-nOHff.

Is Trueanon ever going to tackle Jonestown? I kinda can't believe there hasn't been an episode yet.
