Public defender here: dunno how it works in federal court, but in the state I practice ya gotta be cautious about remorse at sentencing because admissions could be used against you in a retrial. That said she’s not getting a retrial and is also a narcissistic psychopath, so, that might be a factor too

It's really mind-blowing that, to this day, journalists are talking about anything other than Epstein. As an American, I don't care about the war in Ukraine, or the stupid Jan. 6th bullshit, or anything else. Like, there's lots of awful stuff happening in the world, but the best thing journalists could do to ameliorate all of it is expose the full extent of Epstein's crimes and (more importantly) his connections, accomplices, and clients. Like, what else are they doing anyway?
