This is an excellent series! Cool to hear Studio G mentioned. I recorded my last album there and it was an amazing experience. If anyone is looking to record an album go with Jeff Berner at Studio G!

Really enjoying this series. My older sister introduced me to a ton of Tiny Telephone records in the ‘00s, a lot of these bands are bringing back memories. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the series!

I think I saw Mk Ultra open for Sunny Day Real Estate in like 98/99. Is that a real memory?

Love the series so far. An old roommate’s band recorded at Tiny Telephone in ‘07/08. the fact that such small timers could both afford and were given the time, true testament to JV’s attitude of making an accessible place for creativity and art.

The remarkable restraint shown by Yung Chomsky for not playing the harmonica audio cue for "Sanford and Son" when it was mentioned deserves commendation. You are a better man than I, sir. I would not have been able to resist playing it.
