Absolutely bizarre claim from Tom at 14 min about National Front coming third in the popular vote in 1977. Not only was there no general election in 1977, the NF got less than 1 percent of the vote in the 70's. Also the Isle of Dogs seat was won in 1993 (by the BNP, not the NF), even though Tom makes it sound like it happened before Thatcher got elected PM.

Such a crazy story. When he’s talking about the profiling of activists re: personal trauma, etc., and how it was in their field manuals it feels such a creepily clinical and sterilized view of humans, so detached. I imagine it could make activists feel ashamed of their experiences, as if they could do any different. Ugh. These “intelligence” operations - and operators - are sick.
