August Dormitory Diary Entry - Okabe (Patreon)

Greetings, Okabe here.

I've got a mock test for a key animation exam coming up, and boy, am I nervous. Before that, I'm heading back to my hometown for about five days. Even though I'll be on break, I intend to put in some solid practice while at home.

The other day, when I was compiling some scenes, my colleagues and I divided amongst ourselves to check out work. I couldn't help but notice that my movements were a tad more jittery compared to my peers. It was one of those slow, gradually moving shots, and I realized the disparity in our skills was shining through. Now, I'm aiming to produce more meticulous work.

近々原画試験の模試があるそうで、緊張します。その前に5日間地元に帰省する予定なので、家では休みつつもしっかり練習したいです。

先日同期と分けて作業していたカットのデータをまとめていたところ、自分の作業した部分が同期のそれよりも動きが少しガタついて見えました。スローでじわじわ動くカットで、力量の差が出ているなと思いました。丁寧な仕事をしたいです。
