April Dormitory Diary Entry - Ura (Patreon)

Hey there!

It's Ura, and I've officially been in Tokyo for a whole year now.

Here's my April dormitory diary entry.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be working as an assistant key animator and welcoming our new hires to the studio. I've mentioned this in other diary posts several times, but this past year flew by so fast that it still hasn't sunk in that I'm someone's senior now. I bet that I feel incredibly nervous heading to the studio tomorrow.

As for my goals this year, I'd love to try my hand at key animation if possible. To do that at my studio, I'll need to check/correct my peers' in-between animations and assist my peers in key animation. So, ideally, I'm thinking of completing in-between checks by October, assistant key animation by the end of this year, and key animation around this time next year. But based on my past experiences, I doubt it'll go that smoothly.

In any case, I have to increase my animation output first, which means I need to be tougher on myself to get more done.

I'm gonna make it another productive year, so please keep cheering for me!

こんにちは。

東京に来て丸1年が経過しました、浦です。

4月の寮生日記です。

ついに明日からアニメーター2年目として働く＋新人の方が会社に入ってきます。日記では何度も言っていますが、この一年が本当にあっという間過ぎて自分が先輩になる実感が未だにありません。多分明日会社に行ったらずっと内心ソワソワしているんだろうなと思います。

今年度の目標としてはできれば原画をやってみたいです。その為には私の会社では動検と二原をする必要があるので10月までに動検、今年中に二原をやって、来年の今頃には原画！というのが理想かなぁと考えてはいます。まぁ、これまでの経験上そんな上手くいかないだろうとは思っていますが。

何にしてもまず動画枚数を上げなければいけないので、今より枚数を稼ぐ為に自分に厳しめになる必要があるかなと思います。

今年度も頑張りますので、よろしくお願い致します。
