One thing I didn't notice in earlier viewings (saw this one in the theaters when it premiered) was the little homage to the Cesar Romero Joker from the 60s series. While electrocuting the mob capo, he did a little of the "HOO-HOO-HOO!" that was the signature laugh of classic Joker. Fun Fact: When Cesar Romero auditioned for the role, he'd practiced clownish laughs the entire night before for use as the character, but his initial delivery was underwhelming, it just wasn't 'enough'. "Oh, is *this* more like what you want?" he basically retorted and gave a ridiculously over-the-top parody of a laugh. "THAT'S IT!" they cried, and the 60s TV Joker was born.
