One of the best episodes of Star Wars tv in my humble opinion 🫡

Jacob Plourde

It’s lieutenant Gorn not Gon. The survivors are named Cinta and Vel.

Every time you mentioned how good this show looked all I could think was I can't wait for you to see the eye

I think Skeen lied about having a brother. It was his way of manipulating the others into trusting him. And I’d guess Cassian shot Skeen becuase he recognized how dangerous it would have been, for Cassian and everyone else, to leave Skeen alive. Stealing the money would probably have made it necessary to kill everyone else. It even suggests that Skeen was so eager to get Nemik to the doctor because it would afford him a better opportunity to steal the payroll. After all, without that stop, they were probably heading to rendezvous with at least a few other rebels, which would have made Skeen’s plan more difficult to pull off. Besides, after what he suggested, it would have been crazy to turn your back on Skeen even for a moment. Another great review…very fun to watch this “with” you, as always.

Wow These Empireals are just sooo good written bad guys, the one who dies first just wanted them to let the boy go he risked his own life and the safety of the base to save the life of a innocent child. And we know from the scene before that he does veryyy bad things and has an very unethical agenda but hes just a man who thinks hes in the right

Also nemiks last words to cassian „climb“ resemble the ones of K2sO in rogue one. While beeing shot he whispered climb climb

The rebels might say that they arent as cruel as the empire but they just took a child at gunpoint killed a friend if his father in front of his eyes and then bound his mother and went away with his father for him to die later. Without knowing the principle of their intentions this child will see this men as terrorists and actually considered they are

And im always bloen away hiw thus show menages it to create characters in 60 minutes that we are facinated by that are just so real and we care about them. And then there is a Show about friking Obi wan kenobi who hides a child under his coat, while tala and reva are the focus over 3 hours and when they die i feel nothing

I truly think andor is leagues above every other live action show. There are some good other shows, but Andor is the only true show with amazing acting, cinematography, pacing, storytelling, editing etc.

"No plan ever survives first contact with implementation." This ep was nerve wracking (in a good way). We only knew for certain that Cassian would survive, but not even knowing if the mission would succeed or not. And Skeen... there was no way out of that without someone winding up dead. If Cassian didn't go along with it, Skeen would've had to kill *him* to cover his ass... which is assuming he wasn't going to kill him anyway and take it all once they got to the moon Skeen was looking to hold up at (which, given his revealed nature, was almost a certainty).

I think I can safely say this is the best shot episode of Star Wars tv ever, period. As innovative and useful the Volume is, there is no replacement for such well-executed film-making on a gorgeous location like the areas of Europe they used here. On top of that, when they did use CGI, they executed it impeccably. That meteor show escape completely and utterly blows away anything we’ve seen in Mando, Kenobi, BOBF, you wouldn’t believe this show wasn’t the one with the big famous title character. The closest I would pick is “the Jedi”, the Ahsoka episode of Mando s2, but that was completely stylized and hits in a different way. Andor’s commitment to writing fascinating characters and spending time with them sets it apart from all other shows as well. We meet all sorts of interesting characters across all the shows, but they are usually introduced and gone in a flash; the episodes are just too short and scattered. Here, we spent about 3 hours on Aldhani, we live with this crew, and when Nemek dies, we feel it in a way we don’t feel any of the side characters in other shows. It;s actually frustrating we don’t get longer and more thought-out episodes elsewhere.

The most interesting thing about the sets and locations the show was filmed in, is that they were all the UK, the British Isles. So much variety there, it's so impressive.

Its crazy to see how some people completely hate it and some think its the best thing ever, but I guess thats anything when it comes to Star Wars lol
