In the original script for this movie, Instead of Andrew dropping his dad from the hospital window he was originally supposed to do something similar to what he did to the spider.

This is awesome, I haven't seen this movie since it came out. The actor who played Andrew (Dane DeHaan) has amazing range in his voice. He also played Harry Osborne in The Amazing Spider Man 2.

I fucking loved this movie I wish for a sequel, there was a sequel planned but unfortunately FOX canceled it because (in the writers words) “the script was to dark” you can actually find the ideas and part of the script for the second movie online, (correct me if I’m wrong) this sequel set 10 years in the future was not the original idea

Literally my favorite movie of all time. I just connected so much with the main character as a kid.
