So, I don't think you noticed but the man and woman taking care of the orphans are Sasha's parents. Also, the flashback with the man talking to Hange was Djel Sannes, one of the Military Police from Season 3 Part 1.

My problem with gabi isn't just the brainwashing. They were all brain washed. But people like Reiner and Eren were able to realize that racism is stupid really quick. They have EMPATHY. They may kill others but they don't want to do it, they only do it because they have to, to protect the people they love. Gabi on the other hand has so little empathy. Any argument of "why should this happen to us? we didn't do anything at all!" is just instantly met with "well you deserve it". She doesn't stop to think. She doesn't put herself in other people's shoes. And the worst part is that theres a lot of people like her in real life. Maybe that's why it's so annoying lol.

I do agree and see your point but Reiner spent years with them and understood them I'd actually argue in saying he really changed his mindset when he helped Eren in the flashback where at the same time I would say when he started to develop a split personality disorder, and for Eren when he went to Marley he's grown and matured way more than Gabi did (I'm not going anymore into that because of spoilers from the manga) were as Gabi on the other hand is still a kid that doesn't know or understand anything
