I’ve been hold off on saying this but what Gabi is saying is actually real, I’ve never been to Africa but I know some family that were in the military and traveled to Africa there were some parts where the people kids actually who learn how to kill and use a gun and on top of that some do not like African Americans because despite the fact they didn’t have the choice despite the fact it was a long time ago they see it as the African Americans left them and see it as they’re better than them some even blames them for leaving despite the fact that at the end of the day they are still Africans, so for me Gabi was brainwashed, didn’t get the same insite that Falco got, and was trained as a child soldier and the only people that actually saw what the people of Paradis is like was Riener Bertold and Annie and as you can see 1 is dead the others crystallized and Riener doesn’t talk much about it, last thing I wanna say is if roles were reversed things might have been different if Gabi was the 1 listening to Eren and also keep in mind that Eren was literally saying how he thought all Marleyains were the same until he met Falco l and Riener was the same age as Gabi with the same mindset until he spent years growing up with them I kinda see this as what it’s like for Riener and Berthold when they were in the walls
