What I personally love about how the Prequels start is the opposite about how some might feel. People think it starts off "slow" but mind you this is just the start of an ordinary day for a Jedi. There is no immediate threat. We are dropped in right before anything kicks off, something that has been planning and in the works for quite some time. We see the Jedi act as diplomats going about their day. Hell, Obi Wan even "senses" the bigger plot that shrouds the galaxy as his first line in the movie is "I have a bad feeling about this... it's not about the mission, Master, it's something elsewhere, elusive." This dark feeling Obi Wan has sets the tone for the movie that this isn't what you're expecting. They may be Jedi but there's something else out there that is threatening their way of existence. The way the Prequels begins gives me chills, and the story just unfolds from there. Once you finish Attack of the Clones its an incredibly juicy ride as you try to fill in the blanks with what you know and what you've seen already. Would love your thoughts on Dave Filoni's comments on The Phantom Menace's duel being "the most important battle in all of Star Wars" once you finish the trilogy. Can't wait for your FULL reaction :)

This reaction was great, bro! Now I REALLY can't wait for the full reaction. Your reaction to Qui Gon's death was perfect. I love how the haters always say "there's no likable characters in the prequels" and people fall in love with Qui Gon every time. Qui Gon is a great character, the father figure Anakin severely needed is all I'll say.
