'The Nine Tails and Other Delicacies' said the sign at the entrance. Yet everyone knew it as the Ivory Palace. 

The new establishment the Lavorre family founded was erecting high at the top of a hidden hill, where the patrons of the ivory house would enjoy not only the presence of the one and only Ruby's heir but a whole iridescent palette of companions from all corners of the world.

Such a treat was reserved for the finest gentlemen (And the most affluent as well), as just crossing the gates of the Ivory Palace required certain status only a few would possess.

Despite being her first day performing The Leash, she was determined to deeply entertain her earliest guests. Counting with the guidance of the experienced Ruby, she did so. And as such, the legend of the Saphire was born.

Another great entrepreneurship success for the family business!.

I hope you enjoyed the little story, my sailors! 

This is a format I am still figuring out, which is to create a background/support story and to polish my storytelling skills in the process! Double win!

This painting took me a looong time from start to finish, mostly due to achieving the quality I was looking for. To my surprise, it ended up looking very good (I am looking at you, Farah!). 

Luckily enough, our pink and purple ladies ended up finding a spot at the grand opening! Fortunately, the management of the Palace is fair and allows their staff to just serve drinks and attend to the guests in a 'less intimate' way. So our pink lady is safe! (For now).

Some of my sailors have advised me to make certain tusked half-orc instead of a rando, and I am very grateful for such a suggestion! Without spoiling the following parts of this series, I shall do my best to answer that: I am saving something very special for Mr.Tusktooth in future chapters of the Teachings of the Ruby (Remember we are still in an alternative universe!), if my sailors choose them to happen, of course!

About The Teachings of Ruby: The Captain's idea for this series is to make an alternative timeline where Jess was never cast away from Nicodranas. There she grew into the beautiful woman she was always meant to be. After some time, she decided to join her very hardworking mother in the family business.

We will get to explore the journey of our favorite Tiefling into the ways of Ruby at the brand new chateau, the so-called Nine Tails and Other Delicacies (Previously named Pointy Peaks Luxurious Palace).

Finally, since we will be making more Mighty Nein content (Jessie included), we get to identify this alternative timeline by Jester's long hair and the bow on top!
