This is heartbreaking. i'm so sorry Rizzo. i've lost my mom when I was about to turn 31 and she passed away on her 70th birthday back in September 2020, so I feel you. there are no amount of words that can help cope with this new situation in life. it feels so empty and like something is wrong with the world because it's suddenly missing such a huge of our lives. it's surreal. each of us is going through these things differently of course. it's tough to process. it feels like a new life in sort of way. do whatever feels right to you and don't hold back from it because of fears. this will take time and allow yourself to feel whatever you feel with your loved ones. it's good to share with the you closed ones. take your time. there is no rush for you to feel a certain way. grief is something we live with for the rest of our lives as i've learnt. it's not going, but we learn how to live alongside it. there are low times where you feel lost and good times when you look back on memories that put a smile on your face and makes you feel the love our lost parent had for us. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. it's the unthinkable situation we all never want to be in. sending you lots of love.
