You’re preaching at the end with where is this expectation that men (as collective) protect women? Even when individual men “protect”, it’s woman associated with them (wife, daughter, mom, etc) which still plays into the patriarchy where they’re protecting because you belong to them not because of your value as a human.

Kenya this needed to be a main channel video, a lot of people need to hear this. Those three boys on the Schultz podcast are pitiful. Especially the Black one, he couldn’t even look at the camera while Andrew was making some of the jokes on Shits’n’gigs. Also that journalist lady… she needs to be evaluated. That man is absolutely disgusting to look at and to hear that voice… She had to have ulterior motives because I don’t understand😂

I remember once on Twitter someone said when we get rid of all men they’d leave the guys on that one podcast who always debating mundane nonsense (don’t know their names) and Kenya said don’t start making exceptions and I think this was the case for shxts&Gig. Along with your point about when black men and black women are in spaces with white men acting cowardly when these white ppl speak down on black people, I think along with being silent because they are cowards and don’t want to upset ppl who they think are the pinnacle of society through whiteness and patriarchy, I think they feel that because these white ppl are comfortable enough to talk down on black people, their people, while in their presence, it must mean these white people set them apart. They think it must mean that these white people think that other black people, not them, are the subject of their negative talk. These two black men think they are exempt. They think that this negative talk about black women coming from a white man in their company must mean that he doesn’t think these of them (or the women they like) like that. In their minds it puts them further away from blackness, which they hate because they hate themselves, and closer to whiteness because their mutual dislike of blackness in that white mans podcast puts them closer in community to that white man than the black ppl he is talking down to. In this essay…😂
