Fortnightly Progress - 23rd August (Patreon)

For those on the discord tier and above and have missed it so far one of my patrons has helped put together an assignment that will be voted on. I'm just going to be running the polls on here, giving occasional input and the actual implementation when the polls are over. 

First round of voting is happening now and it's impressively tight so far. 

• No Haven

Got the public hotfix out which I'm very thankful for. Feedback on the new assignments has been great so that's lovely to see. 

There does appear to be an issue with owned slavers affecting the number busy so be careful of anyone in that relationship for now. 

Do still plan to release that promised update for the end of this month for hitting the break even goal. Working on that now and the main two highlights will be buyable encampment upgrades which will involve quite a bit of rebalancing, and having the Ensnared Rose debt have effects along with a new assignment. Do have some other more minor things I'd like to include. Will see how that goes, and if not I'll make sure to include them with the September update. Also already planning September which is going to have some fun stuff that's been funded by patrons I'm very much looking forward to tackling. 

• Whorelock's Revenge 

Not much to say on this today. Due to the panic in getting the hotfix resolved the WR streams have not been super productive as I've often been coming straight off a large amount of RAGS work.

Still, there's not all that much to do left with the new stuff outside of making sure it all hangs together. So off chance of end of the month? 

• Commissions 

Advanced Bimbo training suffered quite a few delays. Thankfully, the artist kept me informed throughout and that's honnestly all that I ask. 

Had one too many experiences of artists that will go awol for weeks or even months and it's just a horrible experience, so an artist who understands the importance of professional communication is one to treasure. 

• Picarto/New HMV

As an experiment I did a HMV editing stream as I optimistically decided to start one. While I have no expectations of getting much chance to work on it before the August update is due I have at least got the project started, marked all the lyrics, and sorted all the footage I'll going to be using. 

Turns out yes I can do some masking on a stream without any concerns so that seems like a good alternative on occasion as a break from WR. At least before I start the No Haven twine conversion or that other project anyway.
