New Ambience: Trireme (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,
It's the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. so as soon as I send this off, I'll be getting out of the studio chair and into the kitchen. (Don't worry, I'll be back at work on Friday)
Triremes, for those that don't know, are the ancient boats used by the Mediterranean civilizations. They had sails as well as three banks of oars. (Boats with 2 banks were called biremes.) But I didn't really want to do a warship ambience. Instead, what if it were a lovely day for a sail around the Greek islands? Gentle waves, occasional gulls, the sounds of rigging and oars. After all, these ships weren't always at war and were often used as transport and supply vessels.
Musically this is more of a nod to ancient Greece and by no means historically accurate. I did use lutes, dulcimers, bendirs, and other Greek percussion, but I also layered in a harmonium and a percussion synth because I just thought it sounded cool.
As this is in Patreon-only sneak-peek mode I've included the mixed version (live on the site next week), as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions. Additionally, I created 2 no-boat versions as well as a music-only version that removes the lead vocal melody. I hope you find these additions useful.
Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
