Greetings Patrons,

Here's another classic RPG scenario. The ever-popular cultist hideout. This is designed as almost pure underscore, as in, the score holds a single level of energy throughout, so it never blooms over dialog or action.

Musically I went with a faux ancient Greek style instrumentation. Zithers, various drums, lots of basso vocals. I really wanted a bouzouki part but I didn't really like any of the sampled bouzouki libraries I have so instead I close mic'd a hollow-body electric guitar (unplugged) and recorded that. It wasn't perfect, but I think being able to perform the part on something other than a keyboard made up for it.

This ambience is set in a cavern, but as I was working on it I thought about maybe making it in a church-type environment as well. In addition to the mixed version (on the site next week) and music-only and ambience-only versions, I've included a church version and an ambience-only church version as well. I hope you find these useful.

In other news, the recently released Atlantis SoundPad is now out of sneak-peek mode and is live on the site. Additionally, all the sounds from Atlantis have been added to the Custom SoundPad and are ready for mixing and matching.

More additionally, the Atlantis SoundPad is live on Moulinette Cloud so Foundry VTT users will be able to access it there.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

I do have one small request. Most (all?) of your cavern/cave ambiences have running water in them which makes them generally unuseable in a desert setting. Would it be possible to include a waterless version or just vary that? I realize this is one more variant but would be appreciated.
