Greetings Patrons,

Happy New Year to you all! The first ambience of 2022 features some wishful thinking on my part. As in, wishing for snow. Living in New York City, it used to be fairly common to have snow on the ground in November, but aside from a few flurries, we have been snowless this season. Mind you, when it does actually snow, I'll probably join the rest of the city in complaining bitterly about it.

For this track, I wanted to create a serene setting that could be a backdrop for many different stories.  The snow falling sounds in this ambience portion of this track were so brittle and crystalline that I tried to echo them in the musical accompaniment. Frozen strings blow in and out like the wind. Footsteps crunch in the deep snow.

I've created music-only and ambience-only versions here for patrons. Also, I created a few versions without the footsteps for added flexibility. (The version that will appear on the website will have the footsteps)

This track is in patron-only sneak-peek mode so the website version and all alternate versions are attached here.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Ah, ok. Thanks!

The rain seems out of place, but otherwise I really like it.
