Greetings Patrons,

I'm happy to announce the release of the 29th SoundPad, Cthulhu. I've been working on mythos themed 10-minute ambiences for the last couple of weeks and it really started to make sense that I create a set of utility sounds around the idea.

There are, of course, many different approaches to stories in the mythos, but I decided to stick to the basic settings of Lovecraft's New England. We've got an investigator's office, a misty seaport, a sanitarium, a manor house, a dusty old bookseller, and an underground crypt. The idea with SoundPads is always economy. To describe a theme, or an environment in 40 sounds is always a fun challenge. My hope is that these sounds will simply enhance the stories that you're telling.

This SoundPad is in patron-only sneak peak mode. The link (below) is not in any of the menus yet. Please don't share/post it online until I announce it to the public. Sharing with your immediate gaming group is fine of course.

For Foundry users, I've sent this off to Moulinette so that should appear in the next few days. Also, I'll add this to the Custom SoundPad by this weekend. I think these sounds are going to be great when combined with others. I'm thinking that House on the Hill and Film Noir especially will round these out nicely.

Finally, I've attached a zip file of the sounds here. The multi-part sounds (only 2 this time) have been split into individual items, so there are 42 sounds instead of 40. Additionally, these are higher quality files than the website version, where I have to be very economical with file sizes.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Great sounds and it fits as I just started a new group Cthulhu :) They are so fascinated by the sounds that I sometimes startled them when I played something new :) All soundpads are also available as .zip files

This is fantastic! I'm a new Patreon, are there any other Soundpads that we can download?
