Greetings Patrons,

One of the first RPGs I played with my kids was Monte Cook's Numenera. I remember, it had just come out and was the hot new thing. So I had to get it. I think we only ended up playing it a couple of times - I think I wasn't really sure how to GM it to be honest. But what I did love, was the setting.

It was full of artifacts, and magic and technology. All of it was ancient. So ancient, that no one knew how anything worked. But somehow they knew what stuff did through trial and, probably horrific error.

So here's a massive structure, that appears out of nowhere. Maybe it's been there for years and just woke up. Think the vault in Asimov's Foundation, the monolith in 2001. It's a classic fantasy and scifi trope for a reason. This will work across genres as long it's in  a desolate area that no one really visits much.

I'm trying something new this week: I've had a few requests that I include the website version of the track (ambience + music) on these posts, in addition to the often included music-only and ambience-only versions. This should make it easier for you to download everything in one go, rather than having to download from 2 places.

I've also decided to make the website track a Patron-only sneak-peak. The title and image will appear on the site, but it won't be available anywhere, except here. In a day or two, I'll add the track to the site for everyone. My commitment to providing free content on the site hasn't changed, this is just a little extra thanks.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

thanks so much for being so responsive to the suggestion about posting everything on the Patreon post! And omg, this is a *fabulous* track - very Myst-like (and Dishonored too!) and perfect for several locations I have planned in my post-post-apocalyptic homebrew!

I feel the same on the first point. Thanks Tim! I love the ebb and flow of the music in this one, and all the various elements you added. Terrific piece! The ambience-only track is great for a variety of locales...underdark, swamp, jungle, ominous planar landscape...really versatile and I love it! Cheers man!

Love the Alien v Predator vibe I get from the ambience!

The download button appears to be downloading the Everdeep Track instead. Thought you might want to know. :)

@Tim - You've been reading my mind again! Just in time for some very far off the trade route Traveller Mg2e explorations. I pity my players... this mood music is going to fire up their paranoia to 11.
