Greetings Patrons,

I've returned to NYC after a much needed holiday at the beach with my family. I can't believe that (here in the northern hemisphere) summer is coming to an end.

It was probably with this in mind that I was thinking about farming and the harvest.

This track, Farmyard, describes a small community farm. Probably just enough to feed a few families. It could be anywhere, and, because of the absence of any machinery, it could be from any era. I designed it as medieval, but it could easily be present day.

My original idea for the music track had percussion in it (mostly bodhrans and frame drums). I liked it, but, in the end I felt that it was too much for what is essentially a peaceful, bucolic setting.

But - I think it could be a useful track on its own, so I've included it along with the ambience only, and music only versions, here for patrons.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Excited to check this out!

These are great, and I appreciate that they're mellow. I like the extra percussion version too.
