Greetings Patrons,

The musical portion of this ambience definitely came first. In fact, While I was working on it, I wondered what type of scene or scenario it might go well with. I went back and forth on a few ideas, but I couldn't get the sensation of flying out of my head..

A few days later, I stumbled upon a web page describing magical skyships in D&D and I immediately knew that that was what I had been working on all along.

Musically, it's extremely positive. Jaunty even. So this is a happy voyage aboard a skyship. And it goes without saying, the weather is perfect. The ambience was an interesting challenge in that I had to create a sailing sound without water. Additionally, I needed to impart a slightly magical vibe to it. This will be more apparent in the ambience-only version than in the mixed track.

I've attached ambience-only, and music-only versions of the track here for patrons.

I think the music-only track will make an excellent pastoral, light-hearted, accompaniment to a bunch of different stories. I hope you find these useful!

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

This is a delightful track. I think it goes well even just for sailing on the sea. Full of adventure and freedom.

re: The free version Greetings!! I listen to each and every track you make intently, at full volume, so I can catch all of the elements you put in there, and enjoy the piece fully. I LOVE your previous 259 works.. and that's nothing to sneeze at! THIS one, however, the musical score / choral is a LITTLE over the top. it's hard to even hear the elements in 80% of the piece, and I caught myself wanting to turn it off twice already. I'm currently paused at the 8:39 mark to come drop you a note here. PLEASE don't get me wrong! You are the greatest force in RPG ambience today! I'm just humbly asking you to review this piece real quick and consider lowering the level of the musical score and choral tracks. :)
