Greetings Patrons,

I hope this finds you well. New York City is sweltering this time of year and I decided that this week I needed a nice swim.  Well, an auditory swim anyway.

Lots of requests for nautical ambiences lately so I thought I'd do something below the waves. This track is called Sunken Treasure but it could really be about anything going on in the depths of the ocean.

The musical track is ever so slightly ominous - as I think it should be, it's probably not entirely safe down there. There are various clunks and scrapes as if you're exploring a wreckage or moving rocks and beams to expose objects beneath.

It was a fun challenge getting everything to sound 'sunken'. Lots of experimenting with filters and reverbs and as always, checking in on some films to see how they made it sound. (Finding Nemo, a film I hadn't watched since my kids were small, had some very nice underwater ambience!)

I've included both a music-only version and an ambience-only version of this track for Patrons.

Thank you, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim
