Greetings Patrons,

I got a rather specific request for an ambience last week on Twitter and I thought that, in addition to being a decent Yester Hill track (from Curse of Strahd) it would actually make a fairly good generic, occult / druidic / shamanic summoning type of scenario.

The basic idea is that there's a bunch of hooded people on a blustery hilltop surrounded by all manner of weather, magic and ancient stones. I mean, what's not to like?

This is one of those perfect scenarios where synthesized wind and weather effects are actually more effective than the real thing. It lends a certain, uncanny-valley vibe to the sounds which I love. 'What's slightly wrong about this weather?" you may ask? Everything!

I've included two alternate versions of this track, one is an ambience (chanting included) only version, the other is a music only version.

Also, I realized as I was typing out the file names that this, in fact, the 200th ambience. I know some of you were asking if it was going to be something special and...yes? no? I don't really know. I try not to get too hung up on these things. I just hope I get to make 200 more.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Congrats on 200! I predict that number 400 will also be excellent.

I sincerely hope you'll make 200 more, and then 200 after that. I hope this has been rewarding for you thus far and it continues to be well into the future.

Wow, this may be one of your best yet! I can use this for Suspense, Evil Temple with chanting priests, and it even works for indoors because of the echoy quality. Awesome work!

So glad I'm backing this - these are very neat! (But now we need "Regular office sounds for those working from home for the first time" :)

This worked great for the Circle of Thunder on Dragon of Icespire Peak!
