Chapter 15 – Fox-Eared Girl’s ‘Sunken’ Allure 1

“Funyaa…”


Lieselotte let out a small voice that sounded like a cat’s groan as she lay limply on the bed, her body exhausted and twitching from time to time from the afterglow.


“Phew…”


After laying the unconscious Lieselotte down on the bed, I put my feet on the floor.


The cold feel of the wooden tiles on the soles of my feet felt pleasant against my heated body.


I thought about picking up the clothes scattered on the floor, but before I could, I noticed that my clothes and Lieselotte’s were already neatly folded and placed on the side table.


Looking further, I saw Tsukikage standing by the bed as if she had returned to the room before I knew it.


In her hands, she held a wooden basin filled with hot water.


“Good work, Sir Ryou. If you wish, this one implores to wipe your esteemed body, so please remain sitting there.”


“Is that all right?”


“Of course. Of course. Or rather, it will be this one’s pleasure if you permit to do so.”


I took her at her word and sat naked on the edge of the bed.


Tsukikage then rushed to the bed and gently wiped my back with a wrung-out towel soaked in hot water.


“This one wants to express her deepest gratitude to Sir Ryou for embracing not only Iris and Carla but also Lieselotte.”


While slowly wiping my body, Tsukikage opened her mouth and spoke these words thoughtfully.


“You never know when you will lose your life in the adventuring business. So it’s a blessing that all three of them got to know the taste of a man before anything happened.”


“……”


“And it would be all the more gratifying if at least one of them were to bear a child with your seed… but of course, this one knows best not to get her hopes up.”


“Speaking of which, I was wondering… why did the four of you decide to become adventurers?”


“Huh? Would you please shed some light on that?”


“I mean, yes, I know that there is this fancy system, or whatever you call it, that encourages high-ranking adventurers to get pregnant once they reach S-rank, but for you to force yourself to take such a dangerous risk, didn’t it occur to you to choose another profession – a much safer one – instead of working as adventurers?”

Tsukikage this time moved to my side and wiped my thighs, chest, flanks, and even my armpits with the towel.


Without taking her hands away, Tsukikage continues her story.

And very blunt at that.


“That’s simply the way it is. And naturally, that’s not the only reason. After all, although we are in the same profession, we all come from different backgrounds. But this one thinks it is too private to talk about this sort of thing.”


This made me reflect a little on what she had said.


But come to think of it, even in my former world, there were quite a few men who thought like that.


Like, ‘I want to protect the city from the threat of monsters! For that, I will aim to become an adventurer!’ is just another way of saying, ‘I want to become famous and get popular with the girls!’


At least, that is usually the case based on my personal experience.


Hmm. So the desire to be popular with the opposite sex is common no matter what world you are in, huh?


I tried to summarize it in a good way, but in the end, I still came up with something mediocre.


This world and that world aren’t that different.
