Chapter 7 – The Delinquent Lad and Genius Lass, II

“That’s what I was trying to say, you wowly pewson.”

“It’s “lowly person”. Hell, why am I teaching a girl a way to insult me? Besides, I can’t go to school. I’m suspended.”

“Suspended?”

“It means you are punished by not going to school.”

“Isn’t that a day off?”

Hell, she knows what a “day off” is, but not what a “suspension” is? What are they teaching this girl?

“I don’t rweally understand, but I know that children should be encouraged to go home and study. Because they too are the hope of the future”.

“I never thought I’d be lectured by a younger person who could only say ‘wowly pewson’ with a straight face.”

“I didn’t say that! You wowly pewson, are you making fun of me?”

“You just said it again!”

“I didn’t!”

The young girl insisted, but after staring at him for a while, she suddenly lowered her eyebrows.

“Are you… telling the twuth?”

“Yes, I am.”

The young girl’s sharp expression fell, and she looked like she was about to cry.

“Er, let’s see. How about this? I’ll train you in the meantime. After all, it’s just a matter of speaking a few words smoothly, and it’ll be fixed in no time.”

“Rweally?”

The young girl’s face, which had looked like it was about to burst into tears, instantly cleared up.

Well, even though he’s like that, this current “I” still has his good points.

I smiled and looked at “I” in a new light.

“Let’s practice then. Watch how I say it and get it into your head.”

“Yesh. Bring it on.”

“Titful of titties. Your turn.”

Hold on…

“Theethful of theetiesh…”

“Sleep with me. Your turn.”

“Sleep with me.”

“You got this one right. Now put your heart and soul into it. Be more, you know, sexy.”

“Okay. Sleep with me♥”

“All right, that’s good. You’ve got talent for a foreigner.”

“Really?”

On a park bench, there was a boy who was making a young girl say one suspicious phrase after another to him, but this was only a dream. I hope someone will wake me up soon.

“Hey, boy. What are you making such an innocent girl say, huh?”

Suddenly, someone tapped him on the shoulder.

“Oh?”

Behind this “me”, who turned around, was a police officer.

“Hey, isn’t that the missing girl… so you’re the kidnapper!” It even caused unnecessary misunderstandings.

“Ahh, they found me! Let’s run away!”

It was the young lady who said that.

She pulled his hand, and they floated lightly in the air, her silver hair standing on end.

Then they flew low and out of the park at an impressive speed.

“Wait! You kidnapper!”

“Gyaaaaaaaaa! I mean, what the fuck! This is me being kidnapped, no matter how you look at it! I’m scared! Please help me!”

As I said this, the police officer had disappeared from view.

It seemed that her reputation as a magical prodigy was no coincidence.

“You’re quite a pussy for a man, you lowly person.”

“Shut up! Anyone would be like that if they were… or rather, you, didn’t you pronounce ‘lowly person’ correctly just now?”

“Rweally?”

“Yes.”

“Yay! It’s all thanks to your twaining.”

The innocent girl smiled at me, but “I” looked away, scratching my head at my brown hair.

After running away from the police officer, “I” and the young lady had reached the next town. That tells you how fast they were flying at that low altitude.

“By the way, girl, are you sure you don’t want to go home?”

“I” asked with a hint of realization.

“You were in the papers. You worry a lot of people, didn’t you know that?”

But the young girl just fluttered her silver hair and did not answer. Instead, I heard a “gyuuuu” sound, not from her lips, but from under her belly.

It was the sound a stomach makes when it is hungry.

“Are you hungry?”

“No, I’m not hungry.”

The little girl said angrily for some reason.

“No, your stomach just growled.”

“It wasn’t growling.”

“That’s a bit far-fetched, isn’t it?”

“I” smiled bitterly and sighed.

“Fine. I’ll give you something to eat, so come to my house in the meantime.”

“Rweally?!”

The young girl stared at “I” with blank eyes, but her words were full of life.

When they arrived at the house, “I” offered her bread, ham, cheese and milk, all of which he didn’t have to cook because he couldn’t cook, but I guess she could tolerate that.

“Is it good?”

“I’ve never tasted food this good.”

“You’re overreacting.”

“I” mumbled, but it didn’t feel like a lie. So “I” wondered if she came from a country where the food was very bad.

“You, eat this and go home, okay?”

The young girl fell silent again.

“I” watched her eat with her little mouth for a while, but then I heard a noise coming from the front door and got up.

Along with the sound of creaking wood, footsteps and the opening of the sliding door….

“Son…”

My father appeared.

“Ah, Shishou. Welcome home.”

“I,” replied, but his eyes fell sadly.

“It’s not too late. Turn yourself in.”

“What?”

“I knew you were a scumbag, but I didn’t think you’d go so far as to lay hands on a little girl…”
