HAPPY AUGUST EVERYONE, I'M FINALLY WATCHING I-LAND. I have to say, episode 1 and I'm already going through it with some of these trainees (K in particular). I'm so excited to watch this show through and I am READYYYYY FOR PERFORMANCES. Let me know who you guys liked in episode 1 and your thoughts! (:

Bang PD Mother of Dragons 😜 I’m super excited to see how you vibe with everyone as the show progresses! Sunoo immediately caught my eye when I first watched this but I didn’t know if he had the skills to back up his camera ready personality UNTIL they performed and he killed the facials and vocals so I was sold since day one. Everyone else I was gonna hold judgment until I got to see more of their personalities(that’s usually a big factor for me with any idol or group). I was super impressed with the overall skill level of the 23 trainees though! Fun Fact: Taki is older than Niki. Taki was 15 during filming and Niki was 14 about 6 months apart in age both ‘05 😊 Fun Fact 2: Daniel is ‘06 about 3-4 months younger than Niki and was already 6 feet tall 👀 Fun Fact 3: When he looks down from his tree height at Taki and calls him Hyung, it will blow your mind 🤯 Fun Fact 4: Blue shirt vocal guy is Geonu from Just B. Jimin is in that group too! (I wish he had more screen time though ☹️) Also I’d be just a tad weary of the editing in this show. They like to make shit dramatic because it’s mnet and they went for a dystopian survival documentary vibe. Though it’s not necessarily evil editing, it’s misleading and some of the cuts have even been proven to be faked/spliced together, not giving full context or proper reactions. It was a bit of a controversy during the broadcast among us Eggies(the fan name before the group debuted and we became Engene) so don’t take everything at face value and wait to see how the trainees grow over the show in skills and attitude 😉.

heeseung, jay, sunghoon (and jungwon) knew each other all before the show and debut! heeseung and jay were best friends as trainees and even went to Brunei together

I would agree to be wary around the dramatic evils editing - especially with Niki. They put that poor boy through so much on this show :(

i do like how they format like practice (candid stuff) and perfomanvces so it sort of alternates. it works well. The editing and instructors are rutheless so idk keep tissues ready for sure

OMG ok because lately Sunoo is just doing it for me. I keep watching stuff and seeing different parts of him that I'm like omg...this boy is INSANE. I have a feeling my bias line might be switchin it up throughout! And STOPPP WAIT- THAT'S THE MEMBER FROM JUSTB. WOWWW.
